HSC offers a wide variety of Towline Conveyors which are conveyors in the floor that can tow dollies carrying product.

Chain on Flat Towline

Chain on Edge conveyors consist of an embedded track with chain carried by trolleys. They require two tracks for a straight run a live track and a return track. Chain on edge towlines are more flexible as they can make any curve desired.

Chain on edge caterpillar drives are powerful drive configurations that can be used in-line on the track. Our towline caterpillar drives are constructed with a spring loaded torque arm and over torque kill switch. We also offer Chain on edge air tension take-ups which can prolong the life of a system.

Chain on Edge Caterpillar Drive

Chain on flat towline conveyors are a more cost effective approach to conveying dollies. The cost savings of a chain on flat system come from a simpler chain and the can return in the same track that is conveying the product. A chain on flat cannot, however make curves.
